About Quran and Deeniyat UK
Quran and Deeniyat UK is an online learning community for Muslim children and families across the United Kingdom. We help children learn the Quran, understand their deen and carry it into everyday life.
Our mission
To help the Muslim community in the UK learn and live their deen. We want every child to grow up able to read the Quran confidently, to pray with understanding, and to feel at home in their faith, whatever their school timetable looks like.
Where we began
We started with something simple and useful: a free prayer-times tool for Muslims across the UK, so anyone can find accurate namaz times for their own area. Alongside it, we built a gentle online school for the children of the community.
What we offer
- Free prayer times for your postcode or city, on any device.
- Online Quran classes on Zoom, from the Noorani Qaida through to fluent recitation, Tajweed and Hifz.
- Deeniyat: the Six Kalimas, daily duas, Wudu, Azan, Namaz and Islamic manners, taught step by step.
- Free first classes, so every family can see how we teach before deciding anything.
How we teach
Lessons are live and one to one, so every child gets attention, gentle correction and time to ask questions. Each child starts at the level that is right for them, and parents receive a clear progress update every month. A parent or guardian stays nearby during every children's lesson.
Three days of classes, free
Every new child can join up to three live classes free of charge. We find the right level and tell you honestly where your child is and what comes next. There is no obligation to continue.
